Shot types
This is a long shot. This is effective because it clearly shows all the setting and everything that is going on. This is right at the beginning of the film and it will let the audience know what is going on and where it is set.
This is a high angle long shot. This is similar to the long shot before but this shows more of the house and surroundings, this is effective on the audience because from this shot they will understand that the girl is moving into the house with the boxes and then they will start to get what is going on.
This is a medium shot that slowly turns into a long shot. This is effective because it shows the audience the location and you get to see more what the strange figure looks like but at the same time not enough to figure out what it is and what is going on.
This is a close up shot. This is effective because it shows the facial expressions and from the expression it will make the audience wonder what she has seen and what is going on in front of her eyes. This also kind of makes the audience think from Charlottes perspective.
